Hello everyone! I was born and raised in Southington and currently finishing graduate school this semester. I am trying to get the word out about a project I am working on for a class. The project is called "I Am..." which stands for Illustrate Acceptance of Myself. I have created a blog located at http://illustrateacceptanceofmyself.blogspot.com/ . I am asking participants of this project to create a postcard expressing who they are. This is completely anonymous and all postcards can be sent to:

You can use an existing postcard or create your own. On the front of the postcard write "I Am..." and fill in the blanks with words, phrases, pictures, magazine clippings, drawings, colors, etc. I encourage you to decorate the postcard however you like as long as it expresses who you are; whether it is positive or negative. I will be posting the cards on my blog for the world to see. The idea is to see the cards and realize that we may not be so alone in how we view ourselves and perhaps we can begin to gain an acceptance of ourselves.
