Lions Club benefits from Wal-Mart's generosity

Wal-Mart recently donated $1,000 to the Southington Lions Club in support of its 17th Annual "Everything Goes" Charity Auction This event is the club's largest annual fundraiser benefiting eye research and prevention of blindness projects, various community service projects, local youth activities and scholarships. Presenting the donation are, from left, Matt Abraham and Beth Egliskis, of Wal-Mart, to Joe Krajewski and Jim Gentile, Lions Club Auction Committee co-chairmen.
