Southington Public Library has named Southington resident Danielle Anderson,  a photography student at Tunxis Community College, as the April Artist of the Month. She enjoys portrait photography, often setting the mood of her subjects in the romantic mood of the 1920s. She plans to further her education in photography at a four-college in the future.

Leonard H. Anderson, of Southington, died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut at New Britain General. He was the husband of 61 years Betty (Varney) Anderson.
