The Southington Grange Community Fair will be held on Saturday, Aug. 13, at Southington Grange Hall located at the corner of Summit Street and Knowles Avenue in the Plantsville section of Southington. The 2011 fair will feature entertainment throughout the day and exhibits in needlework, baking, photography, flowers, vegetables, crafts and canning with an evening auction.

Veterans' Benefits and Information Fair on April 19
The Connecticut Department of Veterans' Affairs will hold the state's first Veterans Benefits and Information Fair Saturday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford. This is open to veterans of all ages and there is no charge to attend.
