From left, Debbie Albert, from Pilgrim Furniture City, and Nancy Ottino PR consultant from the Idea Group, present a $32,000 check to Jeffrey Seyler, president and chief executive officer of the American Lung Association. The donation was raised by the Pilgrim Furniture City Open Classic held in August at the Lake of Isles Golf Club in North Stonington. It was Pilgrim’s most successful tournament to date. Pilgrim Furniture City is a family-run business which has superstore locations in Manchester, Milford and Southington.
