Friday morning the Southington-Cheshire YMCA launched its Strong Kids Campaign to raise $127,500 to support scholarships and reduced-cost programs for children and teens. In all, the YMCA will spend $262,000 on these programs with additional support coming from the United Way and special events, such as the recent polar plunge.
