Southington has lost its representation in the Courant, The Herald and The Observer is a non-entity. The Citizen is our last hope. But instead of getting serious, thoughtful reporters out in the field, you choose to find out what people's favorite ice cream is. Is there any wonder why people could care less about newspapers, why a recent survey showed that an overwhelming majority of people state their lives would not be affected at all should the newspaper in their community be shut down? With all due respect, it is time to retire Mr. Kyle and get some energy and reality into this newspaper. Not to mention a copy editor. I know you don't have subscribers to answer to, but have a little pride.
