The Plainville Wind Ensemble presents “Music from Stage to Screen” to be held Sunday, May 16, 2 p.m., at the Southington High School, 720 Pleasant St. The concert “Music from Stage and Screen” will feature some of the music of Broadway and Hollywood. Vocalist Fran Wall will join the Wind Ensemble and grace the stage singing songs from the long running Broadway play “Porgy and Bess” and “Les Miserables”. The concert is a free and open to the public. The Web site, www.plainvillewindensemble.com, has samples of the music of past concerts, the literature list and listing of future concerts.
