Drive through Living Nativity - Mary Our Queen Youth Ministry Program has scheduled a "Drive through Living Nativity" for Friday, Dec. 19 and Sunday, Dec. 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Over 55 members of the youth ministry have volunteered for this event. Donations of non-perishable food items for the Southington Bread for Life food pantry will be collected. The event is located at Mary Our Queen Church parking lot, 248 Savage St., Plantsville.

The advertising deadline is Friday, Dec. 19, 5 p.m., and the deadline for letters, news and photos is Monday, Dec. 22, noon. The newspaper will be delivered to the homes Friday, Dec. 26. Get Organized program - The Southington Library, 255 Main St., has scheduled a Get Organized program on Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. in the lower level program room. GO is a national program sponsored by the National Association of Professional Organizers that teaches techniques to simplify and reduce clutter in the home and office. Registration is required.
