Catherine "Rina" Pomposi

Catherine "Rina" Pomposi, 51, of Plantsville, died Sunday, March 30, 2008, at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven. She was the wife of 26 years of Thomas Pomposi.

She was born Sept. 18, 1956, in Southington, the daughter of the late Angelo and Antoinette (Audi) Califano. She has been employed by Top's Supermarket in Plantsville as a service manager. She was a communicant of St. Aloysius Church, loved to play bingo and go camping.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Justin Pomposi and his wife, Gladys, of Bristol, and Samantha Pomposi and Rachel Pomposi, both of Plantsville; a brother and his wife, Anthony and Phyllis Califano, of Southington; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held April 3 from DellaVecchia Funeral Home, Southington, to St. Aloysius Church. Burial was in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington.
