Norman J. Beaulieu

Norman J. Beaulieu, 74, of Southington, died after a long illness, on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut at New Britain General. He was the husband of 53 years of Lorette (Gervais) Beaulieu.

He was born in Wallagrass, Maine, the son of the late Clovis and Nelda (Pelletier) Beaulieu. He moved to Connecticut 55 years ago, previously residing in New Britain and was a member of St. Jean Baptiste Society and the French Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Steven Beaulieu, of Bridgeport; Debra Melluzzo and her husband, Giuseppe, of Farmington; Brian Beaulieu and his wife, Kelly. of Old Saybrook; and Brenda Beaulieu, of Plainville; his brothers and sisters: Richard Beaulieu, of Maine; Anelda Ouellette, of Plainville; Gloria Ouellette, of Bristol; Iva Dube, of Bristol; Theresa Bowin, of Plainville; Gordon Beaulieu, of Florida; and Roger Beaulieu, of Cromwell; his grandchildren, Melissa D'Agostino and her husband, David, and Salvatore, Rose Marie and Sergio Melluzzo; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Godrick and Dorius.

Services were held April 9 from New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, to St. Jerome Church, New Britain. Burial was private.
