The following statement was just released from the office of Dr. Joseph Erardi regarding the recent flu outbreak in Southington schools:

Dr. Joseph V. Erardi, Jr., Superintendent of the Southington Public Schools along with Chuck Motes, Southington Director of Health and Dr. George Skarvinko, School Medical Advisor will be hosting an open hour discussion on the H1N1 virus. All parents, families and town residents are invited to attend. At this time, information will be shared on guidelines and best practices. Any questions or concerns can be addressed pertaining to the H1N1 virus.

This informational meeting will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2009, 7:00 p.m. at the Walter A. Derynoski Elementary School, 240 Main Street, Southington.
