Milling and resurfacing to begin Aug. 1

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 10 in Southington between the I-84/Route 10 Connector and Route 120 (Meriden Avenue). This project is expected to occur on Monday, Aug 1 to Thursday, Aug. 11.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
