Police seek missing man

Po­lice are searching for Mario Joseph Terranova, 49, of 100 Hosford St. in Wallingford, who was reported miss­ing by family mem­bers.

Sgt. Lowell De-Palma, police spokesman, said Terranova was last seen Sunday around 1 a.m. at 32A Darling St. The family told police Terra­nova has a history ofmental illness and has not been taking hismedication. They do not think he is danger­ous to others but may be a danger to himself. Terranova is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 175 pounds, with a white mus­tache, and bald. He was last seen wearing a black winter coat, blue jeans and white/gray sneak­ers. He has a “lazy right eye.”

Police think he may be in the Southington, Meri­den or Wallingford areas. Terranova could be driving a 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass 2-door with the li­cense plate 824 FXT.
