On Thursday, December 15, 2011, at about 3:40 PM, the Southington Police Department received a complaint of a suspicious person in the area of East Street near Under Mountain Crossing.  Officers responded to the area but the suspect had left and could not be located.

The female student reported that she had been dropped off by the school bus when a vehicle pulled into her driveway and the male driver began asking personal questions about herself and family members. The student then ran away and then the male then drove his car out of the driveway and headed west on East Street.

The descriptions are as follows: The male was described as an older White, Male, Gray Hair- balding, Thin Face, Pale skin, having dark circles around his eyes, clean shaven, he had a oxygen Cannula in his nose, he appeared to be in his 60's, and his voice seemed young for his age, and he also had missing teeth.

The vehicle was  described as being a  Blue/Gray SUV with a “boxy” type of shape to it.

This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Southington Police Department at 860-621-0101.
