Sophomore Zach Wholley of the Blue Knights boys' lacrosse team was named second team All-State in Division L by the Connecticut High School Coaches Association. Wholley, a midfielder, was a key piece to the puzzle this year for a rapidly growing lacrosse program at the high school. After one year at Kingswood-Oxford prep school in West Hartford, Conn., Wholley transferred back to his hometown school and made an immediate impact. The Knights finished the year at 12-5 and fell in the opening round of the Class L tournament to New Milford. Still, with two more years left for Wholley, the sky is the limit.
