What is your favorite part of the Apple Harvest Festival?

This year, the Apple Harvest Festival is celebrating "40 & Fabulous." How are you celebrating during the event? Is it a family tradition? Is it "fabulous?" What could be improved?

I liked the 5 mile road race with MC Bill Rodgers. Had a great time running eating and speaking with Bill after the race. I also was able to run about 1/2 mile at the beginning of the race with Bill so that made it even more eventful. I will come back again next year.

Apple Harvest Parade

The Marching Phoenix was great - they played the entire parade!! Little does the Southington public know but 2 of their own residents are students of the Hartford Magnet Middle School and play in the Marching Phoenix Band! It's unfortunate that the Southington Citizen /Record-Journal did not capture any pictures of the band (as seen on their on line "were you spotted" pages)
