The Southington Woman’s Club held its scholarship luncheon at The Orchards of Southington on May 20, 2010. Scholarships were awarded to (left to right): Richard McIntyre who will attend the University of Connecticut as a Psychology major. Casey Sage will be attending Mount Saint Mary college in New York as a pre-med student. Kelly Nelson will be enrolled in the math honors program at the University of Connecticut. Kiah Devano will also be attending UCONN as a special education major. In addition to awarding these four scholarships, the club will also be making charitable donations to the following: Bread for Life, community service, Southington library, Oasis program, and the Barnes Museum.
